Silence

Her silence broke him,
He shattered into a million pieces,
On front he was sane,
A fake smile always,
concealing the gashes beneath,
the torn soul,
the disassociated reality,
the restlessness.
but then the silence came
stillness
bitter
cold
and agony
and he was
no more
only memories
the markings
the ripples
of a by gone time
when he was
happy.
